Welcome! At Purple Sands Massage, your well-being is at the heart of what we do.  We’re delighted to support you on your wellness journey. Please take a moment to review the terms below to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. These terms are designed to ensure clarity and fairness for both parties. By booking or purchasing a treatment, voucher, or block of sessions, you agree to the following terms.

1. Consultation & Assessment

  • Before your treatment, a consultation will be conducted to understand your needs, preferences, and any relevant health conditions.

  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date information about your health, medications, and well-being. This ensures the massage is safe and appropriate for you.

2. Therapist’s Right to Decline Treatment

  • For your safety and well-being, the therapist reserves the right to decline or stop a treatment at any time.

  • Reasons may include (but are not limited to) medical concerns, inappropriate behaviour, or if the treatment is not in your best interests.

3. Products Used

  • Ayurvedic Yoga Massage utilises both oil and powder, which are applied directly to the skin. As a result, transfer onto clothing is likely.

  • Other massage treatments may also involve the use of oils, balms, or creams. While every care is taken to protect clothing and personal belongings, some transfer may still occur.

  • The therapist cannot be held responsible for any marks, stains, or damage that may occur. You may wish to bring or wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable in this respect.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival may shorten your treatment time.

  • If you feel unwell, please let the therapist know as soon as possible. Certain conditions may necessitate rescheduling treatment.

5. Liability

  • Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment. If you have concerns about your health, please consult a qualified medical professional.

  • The therapist is fully insured and follows professional standards of practice but cannot accept responsibility for any outcomes beyond what is reasonably expected from massage therapy.

6. Vouchers & Bookings

Voucher Validity

  • Vouchers are valid until the expiry date clearly stated on the voucher.

  • Once expired, vouchers cannot be extended or redeemed.

Non-Cash Value

  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any monetary equivalent.

Service Limitation

  • Vouchers are redeemable exclusively for Ayurvedic Yoga Massage sessions, unless otherwise stated at the time of issue.

Booking Appointments

  • All sessions are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.

  • We recommend booking early to secure your preferred time.

Cancellations

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a non-refundable deposit being required for future bookings.

Block Bookings

  • Block bookings are non-transferable and must be used by the person named at the time of purchase.

  • Each session within a block can be rescheduled once, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the session being forfeited.

  • All sessions within a block must be used within 7 months of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
